HOW TO CHOOSE PAINT FINISHES

It is fair to say that when you are shopping for a green pillow, deciding between cotton or velvet depends on the other sofa, bedding, or chair fabric sheens. Using the same "pillow shopping" expertise, select one of our perfect paint finishes for your color that goes with the décor, fabrics, and textures in your home. All are washable and durable. Look around and take inventory of surfaces such as wood, glass, granites along with fabrics and determine if the sheens are contemporary, traditional, eclectic, or natural. For example, a living room with a lot of cottons, linens, and antiques goes better with a color mixed in a matte sheen for the walls to not "outshine" the matte look of the room. The same color in a matte sheen for a kitchen with black granite, lots of glass, and stainless could look dry, cheap, and separated from all the sparkling reflection! Light is color and color is light. We take light very serious. Visit our color and sheen section to not only choose your colors, but also the wall sheen that reflects the overall look of your home.
